FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you dont see your question listed, please email us at info@aclbaseball.com

When are payments due? What is the cost to play?

After you have submitted your player application and been approved, you will then need to pay either entire fee, or begin a payment plan before April 1st.  We are only taking 80 players into the ACL, once you are approved for play you should make a payment.  Players approved but not paid may lose their roster spot.  Cost to play in the league is $699 for position players/two way, and $400 for PO's.

Who is eligible to play in the ACL?

The Alabama Collegiate League is designed for college baseball players or graduated seniors.  There is no age limit, but rather based on if player has college eligibility left. Uncommitted/portal players are welcome and encouraged as the ACL is a great way to get seen or build your network.  Rising seniors that are already committed or are a top tier talent will be looked at on a case by case basis.

What makes the ACL different from any current or past leagues in Alabama?

Professionality, experience, and most importantly a vision.  We've taken our experiences in some of the top summer collegiate leagues, and minor league organizations and applied them to the structure and plan of the Alabama Collegiate League.  Up to date stats and standings, managers with college or pro experience, and the crack of the wood bat in one of the most historic parks in the country are just some of the reasons the ACL is here to stay.
